MBS Bible Grants Allocation

Since 1809, the Massachusetts Bible Society has provided Bibles and other related study materials to churches, prison and hospital chaplaincies, homeless shelters, and other institutions to help facilitate their outreach ministries.  From July 2008 through April 4th, 2009 the Massachusetts Bible Society has granted $40,727 (5,732 units) worth of Bibles and devotional materials to organizations across the Commonwealth.

How Our Bible Grants are Allocated

There are many ways to look at the way our Bible grants touch the lives of others.  For example, you can read of the gratitude of recipients in their thank you notes or look at a listing of recent recipients.

As another way to look at our work in this area, we have provided some pie charts below.  Feel free to contact us if there is further information or detail that you would like.  We want to be completely transparent in how your contributions are being used.
